On Betfriends, you’re always a VIP player! We reward our loyal players with extra benefits, and the higher up you climb on the Betfriends VIP ladder, the more benefits you get.

New players start on the first VIP level, Steel. Your VIP level is then determined by the number of iPoints you earned the previous three calendar months, unless you've played for a shorter time than that, see explanation below. VIP levels are changed on the first of every new month. For example, if you start playing on May 21, the first possible date for upgrade is July 1. Remember to keep playing to retain your VIP level!

Here’s how many iPoints you need per month for each level:

Your VIP level is then determined by a weighted average of the number of iPoints you earned the previous three calendar months.

How the weighted average for your iPoints is calculated

1^st update is to 100% based on how many iPoints you earned last calendar month
2^nd update is based to 60% on how many iPoints you earned last calendar month and to 40% on how many iPoints you earned the month before that
consecutive updates are based to 50% on how many iPoints you earned last calendar month, to 30% on the month before that and to 20% on the month before that

Example: If you earned 4,000 iPoints in May, 5,000 iPoints in June and 7,000 iPoints in July, your weighted average for August will be 0.50 × 7,000 + 0.30 × 5,000 + 0.20 × 4,000 = 5,800 iPoints and you will be placed on the Silver level during August.
